Q: With your package deals do i have to pay all the money on my first lesson?
A: No, as stated on our prices page you pay per lesson and receive your discount on the last lesson.You just need to let your driving instructor know which package you want to commit to, then you can pay per lesson or installments.
 
Q: How many lessons will it take to get my licence?
A: Depending on how many hours you have done our RMS registered instructors will start you on our 35 point lesson planner to assess where your driving ability is up to. Then let you know how many lessons you will need to do.
 
Q: I've heard that for every lesson that i do with Panther Driving School i will receive 3 hours in my log book, is that correct?
A: Yes that's right, for every hour you do with us we will log it in as a 3 hour lesson in your book. Up to a maximum of 10 lessons, equivalent to 30 hours of daytime driving, you will still have to do 20 hours of night time driving.
 
Q: Does the RMS supply a car for my test?
A: No we supply our car for the test, the same car that you were taught in.
 
Q: How and when do i book my test?
A: We will book your test for you in most cases. We need to make sure you are ready to pass your test and that our car is available for the date of your test.
 
Q: What is the waiting time at the RMS for a test?
A: Depending on what RMS and the time of the year, generally around 10 days up to 21 days in the school holidays.
 
Q: Will i have to complete all my lessons before you book my test?
A: In most cases yes, but we try to plan ahead so there is no break between when you finish your lessons and when you go for your licence. You will need to pass the Hazard Perception Test first, before you can book a driving test. This came in November 2017. You can do this test once you've had your licence for 10 months. That pass lasts for 15months. The Hazard Perception Test is a computer test that you had to do to go on to your Green P's, there is now no test to change to Green P's.
